Coating non-woven fabric

Coating non-woven fabric is a type of fabric-like material made from staple fibre (short) and continuous (long), bounded together by chemical, mechanical, heat or solvent treatment. The term is used in textile manufacturing industry to denote fabrics, such as felt, which are neither woven or knitted. Non-wovens are typically manufactured by putting small fibers together in the form of a sheet or web (similar to paper on a paper machine), and then binding with an adhesive. These textiles have numerous applications as it is used in face mask manufacturing, door mats, waterproofing membranes, various types of insulators, wallpapers, etc. SBR improves qualities like structure, stiffness, impact resistance, sound proofing, improved adhesion and tensile resistance. It also helps to cut down manufacturing costs since it reduces energy consumption.
