Nonwoven Textiles
Nonwoven textiles (nonwovens) refer to fabrics produced without the use of yarns, unlike conventional textiles. Instead, the bonding process is applied directly to entangled fibers. The most common example of such textiles is felt. Other types include face masks, doormats, bituminous waterproofing membranes (ISOgum), various insulation materials, wallpapers, and more.
In the production of nonwoven textiles, fibers are arranged in oriented or random patterns and are then bonded using resin to form a uniform, cohesive, and intertwined layer.
Styrene-butadiene resin enhances properties such as structure, stiffness, and strength while simultaneously reducing energy consumption, thereby lowering production costs. Increased impact resistance, sound absorption, improved adhesion, and enhanced tensile strength are among the additional performance characteristics of our company’s products.
