Felt Carpets
As one of the most popular flooring solutions, carpets account for a significant share of the market. Among the various carpet types, felt carpets are considered the oldest category. They are simpler in design and appearance compared to other types and are considerably more affordable in terms of price.
During the manufacturing process, specifically in the finishing stage, the resin mixture serves as a binder and is applied using three methods: back coating, saturation (dip coating), and foam coating. After passing through an indirect-heat oven, the desired structural strength is imparted to the final product.
Today, styrene-butadiene latex resins are the most widely used binders for finishing felt carpets worldwide. Our company’s enhanced formulations offer key attributes such as mechanical strength, durability, adhesion, and appropriate hand feel (firmness), thereby improving product quality. Furthermore, due to their high filler acceptance and optimized energy consumption (resulting in faster carpet drying), these products help reduce overall production costs.
