Tufted Carpets
Although tufted carpets were initially designed and produced to meet the demands of hotels and certain public venues, they quickly became a popular choice for residential flooring. Their appealing designs, full floor coverage, and high, soft pile, which provides a pleasant sensation when walking or sitting, contributed to their rapid adoption in homes.
A tufted carpet consists of two primary layers: the top layer, comprising the carpet pile (in loop, cut, or a combination of both), and the bottom layer, which serves as a backing and is bonded to the top layer. The fiber type—polypropylene, polyester, nylon, or others—is selected based on the desired performance characteristics. One of the most critical stages in tufted carpet manufacturing is the bonding process that adheres these two layers together.
The styrene-butadiene resin produced by our company ensures exceptional pile anchorage and ideal hand feel, resulting in easier carpet installation, enhanced durability, and increased customer satisfaction.
