Sadr Resin Khavar (Petrotex) commenced operations in 2007 at the Garmsar Industrial Town with the mission of producing various types of styrene-butadiene emulsion resins. Through the dedication and expertise of its specialized team and the unwavering support of valued customers, the company has successfully developed and manufactured numerous specialty resins in a short period, rendering the country self-sufficient and eliminating the need to import these products.

SBR and XSBR Latexes

Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR) latex is produced via the emulsion polymerization of styrene and butadiene monomers. Furthermore, by incorporating acrylic esters into the polymerization process, carboxylated SBR (XSBR) latex is produced. Leveraging diverse application requirements, the company manufactures a wide range of grades with tailored properties.
These products exhibit excellent water resistance, superior tensile properties, outstanding adhesion to various substrates, and high filler loading capacity. They also provide exceptional coverage and rheological performance.

NBR and XNBR Latexes

NBR is the common designation for nitrile latex, composed of acrylonitrile and butadiene copolymers. Nitrile latex is produced through emulsion polymerization. Carboxylated NBR (XNBR) is a type of nitrile latex that constitutes a terpolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene, and acrylic esters. Nitrile latex demonstrates high resistance to solvents, oils, greases, and fuels. In addition, it offers good abrasion resistance, a high degree of toughness, and strong adhesion to various substrates. Owing to its broad application range, nitrile latex has become a primary alternative to natural latex.

VP Latex

This is a specialty grade of SBR latex produced by the company via emulsion polymerization in the presence of specific vinyl monomers.

Vinyl Acetate Homopolymers and Copolymers

Vinyl acetate homopolymers, characterized by high adhesive strength and suitable viscosity, are predominantly used in wood adhesives, carpet finishing, and rug manufacturing. These polymers also find applications in construction products. Vinyl acrylic copolymers are copolymers of vinyl acetate with acrylate monomers and Veova. These highly flexible, water-resistant resins are widely used in interior architectural paints due to their economic advantages. They are also suitable for adhesives, sealants, and nonwoven fabrics. These products are available in both two-monomer and three-monomer copolymer grades.

Acrylate Resins

These products are manufactured via the emulsion polymerization of acrylic and styrene monomers in the presence of carboxylic acids. Benefiting from excellent abrasion, moisture, and chemical resistance, these resins are extensively employed in the paint, textile, adhesive, and construction industries, among others. The resins are compatible with a broad range of pigments, thickeners, and plasticizers. The company supplies these products in two categories: pure acrylic and styrene-acrylic.

Additives

Additives are a class of materials used to modify specific properties of latexes. These include viscosity modifiers, dispersing agents, and latex curing agents. The company produces and supplies additives compatible with XSBR, XNBR, and other latex systems.
