ABOUT US
SADR RESIN KHAVAR
Petrotex® was established in 2006 in order to manufacture specialized water based resins. The ever-growing demand for styrene butadiene emulsion resins led our way to manufacture some of the more specialized kind with cutting edge technology and exceptional quality under the brand name Petrotex®.
Product Category
The products of this company are categorized in the following sections:
SBR and XSBR Latex
Styrene/butadiene latex(SBR latex) is manufactured by polymerization of monomer emulsions of styrene and butadiene.
With adding acrylic esters in polymerization carboxylated latex also known as XSBR. These products have great water resistance, tensile properties, adhesion to substrates, filler acceptance, coating and rheological properties.
NBR and XNBR Latex
NBR is a common acronym for Nitrile Latex which consists of acrylonitrile and butadiene copolymers. Nitrile latex is manufactured by emulsion polymerization.
Carboxylated NBR is a kind of nitrile latex which is a tripolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene and acrylic esters. Nitrile latex is absolutely durable in contact with solvents, oils, grease, and fuels. In-addition it has excellent abrasion resistance, high levels of stiffness and adhesion to various kinds of substrates. Due to its numerous applications the nitrile latex has become a major substitute for NR (natural latex).
VP Latex
A special grade of SBR manufactured by emulsion polymerization consisting special vinyl monomers at Petrotex ®.
Vinyl Acetate Homopolymer Resins and Vinyl Acetate Copolymers
Vinyl acetate homopolymers, due to their high adhesive strength and suitable viscosity, are widely used in wood adhesive applications as well as in carpet and rug finishing processes. These polymers are also employed in various construction materials.
Vinyl acrylic copolymers are copolymers of vinyl acetate with acrylate monomers and VeoVa®. These resins exhibit high flexibility and excellent water resistance and, owing to their economic advantages, are extensively used in interior architectural paints. They can also be applied in adhesives, sealants, and nonwoven fabrics. These products are manufactured and supplied in both binary (two-monomer) and ternary (three-monomer) grades.
Acrylic Resins
These products are produced through the emulsion polymerization process of acrylic and styrene monomers along with carboxylic acids. Due to their excellent abrasion, moisture, and chemical resistance properties, these resins are widely used in industries such as paints, textiles, adhesives, construction, and more.
These products are compatible with various types of pigments, thickeners, and plasticizers. The company’s products are available in two categories: pure acrylic and styrene-acrylic.
Additives
Additives are a category of materials used to modify certain properties of latexes. These materials include viscosity modifiers, dispersing agents, and curing agents for latex.
This company manufactures and supplies additives compatible with XSBR, XNBR, and other latexes.
